First, we can restore your teeth in a single office visit - usually in about one hour. There are no impressions, and we do not have to send the work out to a lab. Second, your restored tooth is very natural looking and is metal free. The ceramic material is compatible with your mouth tissue and is non-abrassive as well as plaque resistant. CEREC allows us to be be extremely precise while saving more of your natural tooth than some traditional methods.

What exactly is CEREC™ and how does it work ?

CEREC™ is a revolutionary computer-aided system for producing durable, high-quality ceramic tooth restorations. First, the existing dental caries or exisiting fillings are removed. Next the CEREC measuring camera takes three dimensional images of your tooth. The ceramic restoration is then designed on a computer monitor. CEREC automatically mills the tooth restoration out of tooth-colored ceramic. In the final step, we insert the restoration into your tooth and polish. The finished ceramic restoration feels and looks your natural tooth enamel.
