• CEREC™ Crowns & Fillings (Chairside Economical Restoration of Esthetic Ceramics)
CEREC is the revolutionary system that produces durable high-quality ceramic dental crowns, onlays or veneers in just one office visit. For you this means in a single office visit we can repair and restore your damaged tooth with fewer injections, less drilling and usually in about an hour. With CEREC we can preserve more of your natural tooth enamel - and the CEREC ceramic restoration is tooth-colored and will restore your teeth to their original strength and function. And in most cases, CEREC allows us to restore you tooth in just one appointment without impressions, long waiting periods or temporaries. To learn more about CEREC, click here.

• Porcelain Veneers
With porcelain veneers, a thin layer of the front tooth is removed to allow the veneer to be bonded to the tooth without making it any thicker. The veneer covers dark or yellow teeth, fills unsightly gaps, lengthens short or stubby teeth, straightens crooked teeth, and in general creates a more attractive smile. Veneers are permanent and are attached to the teeth using the most advanced methods of bonding principles.

• Full-Mouth Rehabilitation
Full-Mouth rehabilitation involves restoring the teeth, bite and muscles back to a natural looking and youthful feeling condition, there by improving self esteem. Using computerized technology and an artistic eye, full-mouth restoration may be the answer to many problems, such as heat-sensitivity, jaw soreness and recurring headaches.

• Crowns
Crowns are a type of dental restoration which, when cemented into place, fully cup over the portion of a tooth which lies at and above the gum line. Crowns encase the entire visible aspect of a tooth. A dental crown in effect becomes the tooth's new outer surface.

• TMJ Treatment
"TMJ" stands for temporomandibular joint, or the jaw joint. The TMJ's are the small joints in front of each ear that attach the lower jaw to the skull. They allow you to perform such functions as opening and closing your mouth, chewing, speaking and swallowing. TMJ conditions are manifested by pain in the muscles along with limitations in the ability to make the normal movements. Neuromuscular dentistry can help ease the pain of TMJ problems.

• Implants
Dental implants provide a foundation for replacement teeth that look, feel and function like natural teeth. The person who has lost teeth regains the ability to eat and speak normally and will have both teeth and facial contours that appear natural. The implants are small titanium posts which are placed into the jawbone where teeth are missing. The bone bonds with the titanium, creating a strong foundation for artificial teeth. In addition, implants can preserve facial structure, preventing the bone deterioration which occurs when teeth are missing.

• Non Metal Fillings
Composites if placed with exacting technique (rubber dam isolation and modern bonding agents) get as close as we have ever been able to restore the tooth to its original strength in the most conservative fashion. The composites are a very hard "plastic" that bonds (micromechanically fuse) to the tooth to hold the tooth together. The advantages of non-metal fillings are that they make the tooth stronger, they do not expand and contract as radically as metal fillings, much less of the tooth needs to be removed with non-metal fillings and they are virtually invisible.

• Invisalign®
Invisalign® is the clear alternative to straighten your teeth without metal braces. Invisalign® uses a series of clear removable aligners that are virtually invisible. You can take them out for daily necessities like eating, drinking, brushing and flossing. Because the aligners are comfortable and complimentary to your smile, Invisalign® is a great alternative to traditional braces.

• Teeth Whitening
If your teeth or stained or discolored, a whitening treatment may be the answer to a bright and brilliant smile. Teeth Whitening is a safe and effective way to brighten stained, discolored or dull teeth. Single teeth that are noticeably duller or less white than your other teeth can be individually brightened. Teeth bleaching products which contain peroxides, actually change the natural tooth color from five to twelve shades whiter.

• Endodontics
With the progressive dental techniques today , having root canals done does not have to be a scary experience. Dr. Rusnak is experienced in performing root canal therapy. Circumstances that may make a root canal necessary include extensive decay, tooth fracture or gum disease which can kill the tooth and cause root canal pain or a dental abscess.
